Apologies for my slackness with the results this week peeps, it's been a busy week celebrating our Harry's 21st birthday and of course, much more important..........Wolves first win of the season, 2-0 victors against the poor Saints of Southampton, placing them firmly on the bottom of the table and us, in 19th. Were it not for the pesky Tractor Boys of Ipswich, we could have seen 18th, but they only went and beat Spurs in their own back yard 2-1 the final result..............Oh to be a Spurs fan !!!!
Staying down South, Palace went down 2-0 to Fulham and West Ham played out a 0-0 draw against The Toffees of Everton. Meanwhile, Brentford pipped the high flying Cherries 3-2 and over on the Brighton coast, Man City dropped points once again, as they saw themselves beaten 2-1.
Up in the North West, Manchester's red team continued their fine form under Ruud van Nistelrooy tonking The Foxes of Leicestershire 3-0 and Liverpool did what it seems Liverpool do this season, with another win, this week 2-0 over Aston Villa.
High flying Notts Forest went down 3-1 to The Toon Army of Newcastle and in the clash of the cockney titans aka Arsenal v Chelsea, finished up all square at 1-1.
In our comp, we had one clear winner this week, as with most of us scraping five or six if we're lucky, with a massive 8 points, which included the Brighton win over Man City, Chris Legget takes the kudos this week, awesome performance mate, we salute you !!
Chris's win sees him stealth into joint 4th alongside George, Liam C, Marcus and Rob. David sits in 3rd, behind Callum and Paul, both just about holding onto 1st & 2nd courtesy of their '20 pointers', but the pack has almost caught you boys !!
Top of the table below and the link to our website which will have your picks for this upcoming weeks Nations League games, the first of which kicks off on Monday, so picks in by tomorrow evening thank you please.
