BOTTLERS AHOY..........yes, another fascinating weekend in The Premier League as once again we see several of this current seasons 'high flyers' drop points, leaving Liverpool sitting pretty, 2 points clear on top of the table.
On the flip side, Arsenal all of a sudden see themselves 7 points off top spot, along with fellow cockney herberts Chelsea and one (or is it 1/3rd) season wonders Aston Villa, not to mention '2015/16 Leicester in disguise' Nottingham Forest now owning 3 spot !!
Arsenal's season seems to be going from bad to worse as not only did they go down 1-0 to Newcastle, it was also announced sporting director Edu has resigned from his position and agreed a deal in principle to take up a role with aforementioned Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Starting at the top, Liverpool came back from 1-0 down with 2 quick goals shortly after the 70 minute mark to beat Brighton at Anfield, meanwhile over the hill at The Emptihad, those magnificent Cherries held onto a 2 goal lead against City right up until the 82nd minute, but despite valiant efforts from The Sky Blues, took all 3 points, final score 2-1 !
Nuno's Nottingham Forest dismantled West Ham alongside River Trent 3-0. Ruud's unbeaten run continued as despite bagging a rather soft penalty in the final quarter of the game, Chelsea equalised shortly after, final score at Old Trafford 1-1.
Hit and miss specialists Spurs scored a definite hit this week, equalising against early leaders Villa in the 49th minute to kick on and bag another 3 to win the game 4-1, courtesy of a brace from Dominic Solanke and finished off with an absolute pearler from James Maddison.
The Saints bagged their first win of the season 1-0 against The Toffees, placing hapless Wolverhampton Wanderers firmly back on the bottom rung of the table, following their 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace, meanwhile, The Tractor Boys of Ipswich Town took another point in their game against The Foxes, final result 1-1 and in the last game of the week, wonder boy Harry Wilson left it very late, bagging a brace in extra time to give Fulham their 2-1 win against fellow southern softies Brentford.
'Fascinating weekends in The Premier League' such as this one, mean some very low scores in our comp unfortunately, lots of 2 and 3 pointers, even a couple of one pointers aye Laim !! A usual mediocre 5 turned out to be a good score this week, but the winners all managed to hit a sweet 6, so hats off and kudo's directed to this weeks champione's Messrs Zanio Robinson and Connor Philpot, lovely work fellas, we salute you !!!
Confirmation of who did what on the website, as well as your link to this weekend's fixtures picks.
Link to the website below if you need it and it's last chance saloon for Wolves head coach Gary O'Neill this weekend as we welcome fellow bottom dwellers Southamton to Molineux, but never fear, with big hitters such as David Moyes, Graham Potter and even 'Fat' Frank Lampard being linked to the job, surely this is only the beginning...........of what, who knows ?!?

Abou Diaby, he kicked John Terry and knocked him out
David Silva (The wizard) - unbelievable player, almost never lost the ball even when surrounded by four players, wonderful passer and scored some great goals. Played for City for 10 years.
Gary Shaw , because when he got the ball he was bound to score
George Best. As the scout said to Busby. “I have found you a legend”
Joe Cole. Why did I pick a draw for Man City Liverpool. I might regret that
John Barns, what an exciting player to watch back on the 80s
ooh! ahh! cantona!
Paul Mc Grath because he played his whole career hung over
Richie mccaw
Shay Given
Shay Given, I was also a short GK so seeing someone the same height as me pulling off worldies all the time was inspiring to me back in the late 90's early 2000s
Steve Bull...............Wolves ay he.
"Tough. I love Dwight Yorke. I got the chance as a kid to play in a game with him at an Expo in Sydney with the likes of Beckham, Bosnich, Kewell and Viduka. Dangerous striker!
As an Aussie Villa fan, also love Bosnich in his prime (football prime)! What a keeper. UTV."
Well it has to be Ricki Samurl le Mar-Walker as he keeps telling me he is top scorer for his Friday night football team.
