Matchweek 17 - Results 

Ho, ho, ho indeed, although possibly not for the Manchester faithful as both red's and blue's saw defeat at the hands of Villa (2-1 loss for City) and for Utd, a 3-0 toking by The Cherries !!  Results that see Utd languishing in 13th place and the champions down to 7th looking up at Bournemouth, Notts Forest and even the bloody Villa.

Speaking of unsurprising victories, Wolves only went and won and so satisfying as it was against Vardy and his fellow knob head Foxes, 3-0......stick that in your pipe and smoke it Steptoe and well done to our new gaffer Vitor Periera............we love you already !!

Sean Dyche pulled out yet another defensive masterclass, holding Chelski to a goalless draw, also hats off to The Saints interim manager for doing the same to those high flying Cottagers from the posh end of London town.

Newcastle put 4 unanswered on The Tractor Boys, Arsenal topped that with 5 against Palarse, although they did let them score 1 just to make it interesting for a few minutes and not to be outdone, Liverpool went and stuck 6 on unpredictable (but entertaining) Spurs in a 9 goal thriller, 6-3 the final score!

The Hammers finished all square at one a piece against The Seagulls and finally, Nuno's Forest continued their march up the table with another convincing win, this week at Brentford's fortress (that was) The Gtech Stadium, 2-0 at the whistle.

No Christmas 'double bubble' unfortunately in fact 5 points was highly respectable, but this week's winners are already at the top of our table, well if you sort alphabetically that is, as once again Alex shows the boys how it's done, joined this week by Ally, both nailing 6 points, so we tip our santa hats in your direction foks and raise our glasses off eggnog, lovely work folks.

Confirmation of who did what on the website, but after weeks of seeing the double up duo of Paul and Callum on top of the leaderboard, we now see Rob joining Paul on 103 points, closely followed in second by Chris and Callum on 102 and creeping up in 3rd, it's a three way tie between Simon, Richie and our George, all on 98  Watto, David and Marcus are not very far behind !
