A tricky weekend for the pickers as we were dealt x4 draws. Brighton held Arsenal to 1-1 following Joao Pedro's 61st minute penalty. Crystal Palace left it late, but shared a point a piece in their 1-1 draw against Chelsea. A Mo Salah penalty in the 70th minute put the red men ahead, but Man U fought back with a Diallo equaliser 10 minutes later, final score 2-2 and in a game with x3 penalties, The Cottagers drew 2-2 with The Tractor Boys of Ipswich.
Notts Forest spanked Wolves 3-0 , Man City managed their second win on the bounce in convincing form, thumping West Ham 4-1. The Saints were in with a chance up until the hour mark in their game against The Bees, as the latter held onto a 1-0 lead, only to kick on with another 4 goals in half an hour, final result 5-0 Brentford.
Leon Bailey hit Villa's winning goal in their 2-1 win against The Foxes, The Toon came back from an early Spurs goal to also win 2-1 and The Cherries took all 3 points in their 1-0 home victory against The Toffee's.
Lots of 6 pointers this week, but for the third week on the bounce it's 7 points that gets the glory and only 2 pickers managed it, so take a bow Megs and Ally, you are this weeks champione's..........ole, ole, ole !!!
Thanks for getting your FA Cup picks in and apologies for the late notice on this one, but it was a last minute decision and other than a few slackers that I'm currently chasing down, you've all done a grand job getting them in.
Matchweek 21 kicks off on Wednesday morning and we're straight into Matchweek 22 again next weekend, so we will do our best to get both of these links up for you asap.
In the meantime, enjoy the magic of the FA Cup. For those unfamiliar with some of these teams, Accrington Stanley is a football team in Liverpool that went bust in the 1960's and having fought their way back into the football league and now find themselves playing at Anfield. Salford City is a team now owned by several of Man Utd's 'class of 92', so their game against Man City will be very special for some of the owners and there are no less than 82 league places between Tamworth and Spurs, so let's get behind Tamworth !!!
