Plenty of goals this week, 9 coming from The Magpies alone courtesy of their 4-1 victory against Man U and this mornings 5-0 drubbing of Crystal Palace, a game delayed due to their FA Cup winning exploits I would imagine, making it 10 goals conceded in one week for The Eagles, following their 5-2 drubbing at the weekend.
Champions league drop-outs Aston Villa thumped The Saints 3-0, the mighty Wolves made it 4 wins in a row for the first time in the top flight since 1972, beating Spurs 4-2 and The Cherries beat Fulham 1-0.
Surprise result of the week saw Everton beating Notts Forest 1-0, not to mention Ipswich holding Chelsea to a draw, 2-2 the final result. Draws also for The Gunners, 1-1 vs The Bees and The Foxes drawing 2-2 against The Seagulls of Brighton & Hove.
Other than that, champions elect Liverpool extended their lead by another 2 points courtesy of their 2-1 victory against The Hammers.
